Award-winning hairstylist, Inanch Emir, co-founded and launched her boutique, luxury salon Inanch London on Great Portland Street, Fitzrovia in 2005.

Due to her impressive skills Inanch will be appearing on Channel Five’s 10 Years Younger as the expert in hair loss solutions.

“At Inanch London, we offer several application methods including micro-rings, clip-ins, micro wefts and our favourite pre-bonded polymer tips.   We pride ourselves on finding the right solution to suit each client’s needs, budget and lifestyle so always conduct a complementary consultation to make sure everyone is comfortable and feeling happy with their chosen method.

“From my 20 years experience in the industry, I would always advise clients go to the top end of what they can afford, as when it comes to extensions quality will out in the end, providing the aftercare and maintenance advice is followed throughout your hair extensions experience.

“Depending on which type of extension you opt for your hairdresser will advise the best technique for washing the hair.   We always recommend using sulphate free shampoos.  Sulphates have a particularly drying effect on extensions (sometimes leaving them more coarse), they can also strip the colour from your hair, leaving it looking dull and lifeless.   Sulphates are a big No-No for extensions!

“Generally speaking for all your hair extensions – you can apply as many products and heat to your natural hair as you desire, but try to avoid putting too much on the extensions.

“Your hair extensions will not naturally hydrate in the way that real hair will and therefore it is essential to keep them moisturised with conditioning masks perhaps once a week and to use the right shampoos and conditioners such as our sulphate free, Gold Class product range formulated to prolong the life of your hair extensions.”
