Another trend to seriously send our locks into a spin – and unlike the modern shag, it is not for the faint-hearted, it is the Mullet.  Hairdresser David Corbett says:  “Hair today is all about texture and having fun with shapes. The mullet has never really gone out of fashion and the modern mullet is the ultimate formal and serious through the front, and party time through the back! The key for any mullet is that it is wearable with plenty of movement and texture to the overall length. Keeping it short and textured through the front keeps it soft and feminine, it’s one of my favourite styles at the moment as it’s so versatile. It can be as short or as long as you want it to be and the more texture through the front, the softer and more beautiful it will look. I kept this super-short through the front for an exaggerated editorial feel, but a fringe skimming the eyebrows would work just as well.”
